Malayan Movie Review?

Another one of the movies which is solely made with Karan in mind is Malayan. Malayan goes with the image of Karan who is a do gooder and a worthy worker to his employer. Even if the story of being betrayed by the one we trust the most is not new to Tamil Cinema Karan has done a very good job with his emotions and acting.

Karan (Malayan) works in a fireworks factory for Sarath Babu and is devoted to his employer. Shammu a mischievous girl enters his life and they both fall in love. Shammu works in the fireworks factory and as fate would have it, there is fire in the factory and Shammu is killed while others are injured. A grief striken Karan tries to expose the conspiracy that is behind the fire. Udayatara as a nurse also falls for Karan.
anja Karuppu and Mayilsamy have added to the humour quoitent. Karan has done justice to his role and Sarath babu and Shammu are good in their roles. Debutant director Gopi has handled his first film fairly well.
