Muthukumar says it is challenging to pen lyrics for realistic films2010

 

Na Muthukumar while speaking to the media said,” The songs which I have written for the films Paiyya and Angaadi Theru was well received by the people. I am really happy about this.

The reason for this is that stories of both of the films were set in different backgrounds. Paiyya is a commercial film whereas Angaadi Theru is a realistic film. While writing for commercial films, it is not necessary to go deep into the stories. But while writing for realistic films we have to travel with the story.This is a very challenging matter. I am also of the view that one lyricist is enough for a film. Then only we can be recognized as well as give variety of songs. I am not saying it is wrong to engage many lyricists for a film, because many new lyricists will get opportunities.”www.charmingindians.blogspot.com
