Producer GR had churned out some of the mediocre films – Manunidhi, Kaasu Irukanum, Sound Party and Nee Unnai Arindhal. Now, he is remaking the best evergreen classic entertainer ‘Varavu Ettana Selavu Pathana’ in Kannada. The remake version has been titled as ‘Henthirir Darbar’ that means ‘Wife’s dominance’.The film has famous actor Ramesh Aravind and Meena in lead roles and has producer GR himself enacting a prominent role.The original version had Nasser and Radhika in lead roles and was ennobled as the best entertainer, which had the heart and soul theme of problems prevailing amongst middle class families.Soon after this film, the producer has decided to churn out couple of Kannada films and a big budget Tamil flick.
